Rhizome is a knowledge system of A-Centered multiplicities.

A system of learning which challenges traditional model by interconnection and non- hierarchical approach. Explored initially as an application of post-structural thought, Rhizome is characterized by ceaselessly established connections between semiotic chains, organizations of power and circumstances relative to the arts, sciences and social struggles. Rhizome challenges the known truth and arrives at a new dimension by using principles of Connections, Heterogeneity, Multiplicity, Asignifying Rapture, Cartography and Decalcomania.

Our Team

Tushar Gaur Founder – Director - M.Arch. (Theory and Design) | CEPT University, India Erasmus Mundus Scholar – Politecnico Di Milano. Italy

Tushar is founder of Studio Rhizome and focuses primarily on Project idea formulations. Tushar’s approach is strongly rooted in theoretical research and his expertise lies in developing innovative design processes.--Tushar received master’s degree in Theory and Design from CEPT University and was Erasmus Mundus scholar in India4EU Project to Politecnico di Milano (Italy). His core interests is in Architecture, Language, sociology and philosophy.--Tushar loves writing and teaching architecture. He has lectured extensively and served as jury in various architecture schools including School of Planning and Architecture(SPA) ,New Delhi and Faculty of Architecture, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and Ansal University, Gurugram

Gauri Mishra Director - B.Arch.

Gauri, heads the Interior design department, and is extensive involvement in idea development, material selection and details development of each project. She has a good eye for detail and unusual /exceptional solutions for problems.

Abhishek Kashyap Director - Sydney - B.Arch. , Master in Project Management

Abhishek heads Studio Rhizome in Sydney. He is an architect with double Masters in Property Development, Investment and Construction Project Management from The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. Abhishek‘s areas of expertise are property investment feasibility, design analysis, project design development and construction management for shaping well- coordinated property development from inception to occupancy. His design ideology is sensitive to context and specific project needs and is highly proficient in developing complex projects.

Alok Singh Associate Director - B.Arch.

Alok Singh heads projects developments and is responsible for guiding comprehensive design intent into realization. With over more than 12 years of experience, he leads the team to coordinate between various domains like Design, Legal, Bylaws, Engineering Services and Cost management and deliver a superior project.--Alok has delivered various projects like Airports, Institutions, Corporate Offices, Commercial Complexes, IT complexes, Retail and Entertainment Centers, and Township developments with different renowned developers like L&T, NBCC, Bestech Group, Ircon & Sam India Etc.
